True Winter
True Winter is more than primary colors. True Winters rock cherry reds, jet black and snow white colors. True Winters have a cool undertone first and foremost, and secondarily need depth and darker hues. Summer colors, though cool, do not have enough oomph for Winters.
True Winter People
True Winter people are completely cool, meaning they don't benefit from orange/yellow warmth. They also need stronger, bolder, darker colors and often look best with a crispness/clarity to their clothing, thus the 'jewel-toned' True Winter.
The Vibe

The Drapes
I drape clients in a red, blue, green and yellow from each Season, and the True Seasons also have a neutral. I also have luxury drapes to show the beauty of the Season and some metallics too. Learn more about the draping process.
The Palette
These beautiful color palettes, carefully curated by NDU colors, aren't comprehensive - there are thousands of colors that the human eye can see, but they are meant to show the range of dark to light and chroma that the Season can wear. We shouldn't be color 'matching' to squares when shopping, but trying to get the right overall color vibe and properties.

Suspected True Winter celebrities include Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christina Ricci and Zooey Deschanel amongst others.
Jewelry & Accessories
True Winters are at their best in high-shine silver and platinum.
Makeup
True Winters need intensity. All lip colors should have a clear blue-undertone within their pinks, reds and purple hues.. I like The Concept Wardrobe's recommendations for makeup for each Seasson.
